PIANJ names Mahoney Director of the Year

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.—Constance Mahoney, Westfield, N.J., was named the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey’s Director of the Year today at the association’s annual business conference at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. Mahoney is agency manager for Mark Anthony Associates in Mountainside, N.J.

The award recognizes the hard work and dedication of a member of the association’s board of directors who has contributed remarkable time and talent to help support the association and its many programs.

As an active member of PIANJ, Mahoney is chair of PIANJ’s Northwest Advisory Council and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee.

"As chair of the Education and Conference and Membership Committees, Connie has been a significant contributor to PIANJ for several years," said Donald F. LaPenna Jr., immediate past President of PIANJ. "Her work this year, in the Government Affairs Committee and Advisory Council has been instrumental in providing PIANJ perspective to help us be strong business partners to our members and serve the insurance buying public."

In her community, Mahoney served on the Westfield Republican Committee. She also was president of the Roosevelt Intermediary School in Westfield and was chair of the Junior League Thrift Shop.

PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
