In memoriam: William Roger Butler

PIA is sad to report William Roger Butler, father of PIANJ Director Roger C. Butler, CIC, passed away Friday, Feb. 10. William was a senior account agent for Allstate Insurance for 39 years before retiring in 1998. He was and a long-time and active supporter of the community as a Master Mason for more than four decades and his related charitable work was extensive.

He is survived by his fiance, Sheri Nalbone; his children, Donna and Roy Petty, PIANJ Director Roger Butler, Dr. Linda Butler and Karen Butler; his siblings, James and Claire Butler, Ethel Dean, David and Donna Butler; and his grandchildren Jeremy Petty and Rachel Tidd. He was also beloved grandfather to Bruce and Nicole McMillan, Michael and Danielle Iuliano, Kyle Brodbeck, Alexander McMillan and Sofia Iuliano.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 5, from 2-5 p.m., with a Masonic service at 4 p.m., at the Gothic Fraternal Lodge, 3682 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, N.J.
