PIANJ president keynotes NJ CPCU Conferment

PIANJ President Glenn Tippy, CPCU, CLU, keynoted the 46th Annual NJ CPCU I-Day today, which was presented by the New Jersey and Central Jersey Chapters CPCU Society in Somerset. Seventeen professionals received their Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designations and were conferred by Eric Nordman, CPCU, of the CPCU Society Leadership Council. Attendees had the opportunity to choose from three courses for CE credit and heard Tippy, who discussed opportunities and challenges property/casualty insurance professionals face, including social, environmental and technical changes that pose new exposures to them and their clients.

PIANJ President Glenn Tippy, CPCU, CLU (at podium), keynoted the 46th Annual NJ CPCUI-Day, at which 17 designees were conferred.

Tippy commended the CPCU designees for their commitment to their profession: "You, the new designees, have shown youre interested in the deeper levels, the levers that move risk, the ever new tasks of risk management. CPCU is a mark that you think things through. Keep it up. Ask the questions, before something blows up. And start finding the answers," He told them. "Ive been proud to be a CPCU. It has helped me. And I have helped others, because I started with the approach that CPCU embodies. I wish you all the luck in the world but suggest luck is largely preparation and hard work."
