PIA's Licensing/CE Compliance Central is an online tool kit designed and made available to PIA members—professional, independent agents—to help them navigate the latest rules and regulations regarding licensing and continuing-education requirements. PIA has long held a reputation for providing the highest quality education in formats that are easy and accessible to members.
Licensing/CE Compliance Central includes important resources for producers such as information about getting and maintaining a license; rules and requirements for doing business in one's home state and other states; reporting requirements; information on company appointments and terminations; surplus-lines licensing; as well as quick access to state and other licensing authorities, with specific rules and regulations and CE requirements for specific products, such as flood and long-term care. PIA also provides frequently asked questions and answers, and offers members instant access to its member-exclusive Industry Resource Center for more specific or personalized questions.
PIA is committed to meeting our members' needs and to making sure that professional, independent agents are easily able to meet all their licensing and CE requirements.

New two-year member option

Your CTYIP board of directors voted to implement a new two-year member option. This will enable us to maintain our current membership over a longer period of time, while reducing the amount of emails we send you. We'll also save on paper by not having to send you paper bills. It's a win-win for everyone. When it is time to renew your membership, go online and make sure that the two-year member option is checked off, or check the box for it on your paper bill and mail it back to us. It's that easy.

Late in 2016, PIA of Connecticut welcomed Vermont into the PIA family. That state joins Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York, which are all managed out of PIA headquarters in Glenmont, N.Y.
