Jeff has held a variety of positions during a 24 year career in the legal profession and insurance industry. For the first 10 years of his career, Jeff was a trial lawyer in Philadelphia, PA litigating many business and insurance related matters. In 1993, Jeff began a 15 year career as a reinsurance broker designing and marketing major reinsurance placements for national and regional insurance carriers including medical malpractice, property catastrophe, casualty, marine and non-standard auto treaties. Since 2009, Jeff has been with USLI, holding leadership and underwriting positions in Commercial Lines and Hospitality & Liquor Liability.

Jeff graduated from Cornell University’s College of Arts & Sciences in Ithaca, NY, in 1980, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and from Cornell University Law School in 1983 with a Juris Doctor degree. Jeff achieved his Associate in Reinsurance designation in 1994 and his CPCU designation in 1995. In his free time Jeff enjoys volunteering for Cornell, singing in his church choir, playing the trumpet, gardening and reading history.
