Ken is a native of Hartford, Connecticut. he obtained a business degree with a major in finance from Loyola University of New Orleans and has been in the bond and insurance field since 1977. He started his carreer with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and rose to be the manager of their New Orleans Bond Department. He then worked forJohnson & Higgins in New York city and susequently returned to Connecticut to become a partner in a local agency specializing in contractors. Since 1993, Ken has managed Northeast Surety and pruchased its assets in 1997. Over the years, he has been active in several construction organizations including Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Associated Genereal Contractors (AGC), Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP). In addition, Ken teaches continuing education bond courses for various State insurance organizations and has served as an expert witness regarding bonds. Northeast Surety, LLC is fully licensed brokerage specializing in bonding and business services for the construction industry, law firms, and related companies.
