Cathy Trischan entered the insurance business upon graduation from Rutgers University. After her first job as a claims adjuster for a carrier, she moved to the agency side of the business. She held various agency positions including Commercial Lines Manager, Producer and, most recently, Director of Commercial Underwriting. In 2023, she began to work full-time in her training and consulting business.
CIC
Mark is currently employed as a Commercial Underwriter & Marketing Representative with the Oswego County Mutual Insurance Company of Parish, NY. Mark received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1995 and obtained his Certificate of General Insurance in 1991. Mark continues to maintain a valid New York State insurance broker's license and has been an active instructor for CIC and CISR institutes since 2001. He is the Educational Consultant for CIC institutes conducted in New York and current resides in Hastings, NY.

Bob Ward is a partner of Whitford Insurance Network, Inc., located in Exton, Pennsylvania. He started his insurance career in 1981 as a claims adjuster for General Accident in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and in 1982 joined INA as an underwriter in Wilmington, Delaware.In 1983 he moved to the F.J. Ward Agency in Coatesville, Pennsylvania as an independent agent. In 1990, Bob formed the R.A. Ward Agency of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and in 1993 he merged that agency with the Whitford Agency of Exton, Pennsylvania to form Whitford Insurance. In 2002, Whitford Insurance network became a member of Keystone Insurers Group.Bob earned his CIC designation in 1985, his CPIA in 1989, and his CWCA in 2009. He has been speaking at CIC seminars since 1995 and is currently a member of the Alliance's National CIC Faculty. Bob has also been active with PIA of PA, MD, and DE, serving on the board in 1995-1996, as well as various company advisory councils.
