PIANY names Andrews Committee Chairperson of the Year

GLENMONT, N.Y.—The Professional Insurance Agents of New York Inc. named Richard Andrews, LUTCF, Committee Chairperson of the Year. Andrews is owner/principal of The Andrews Agency Inc., in Ithaca, N.Y.

      The award is presented to the PIANY volunteer who best demonstrates dedication and effort in chairing one of the association’s committees. Andrews received this award for his work on the Company/Industry Relations Committee.

      In addition to the Company/Industry Relations Committee, Andrews is a member of the Education/Conference Committee. He also is an ex-officio member of the association’s Southern Tier Advisory Council.

      PIANY is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
