PIANJ meets with DOBI Commissioner Caride

PIANJ leadership had the opportunity to sit down with the Department of Banking and Insurance Commissioner Marlene Caride and her Chief of Staff Justin Zimmerman on June 10, at the PIANJ/PIANY Annual Conference in Atlantic City. PIANJ and the DOBI have meet during the conference for several years, as it provides an ideal venue for DOBI representatives to meet with insurance professionals.

During the meeting, the group discussed a number of issues of interest to insurance producers and the insurance-buying community, including: cyber security regulations; personal auto step-down provisions; the auto insurance surcharge threshold; and continuing education.
