NHID approves 2018 ISO PAP

The Insurance Services Office Inc. had its 2018 Personal Auto Program approved by the New Hampshire Insurance Department effective Nov. 1, 2018. You will want to determine if, and when, your insurers are going to adopt it.

Revisions in the personal auto policy form address vehicle sharing, ride hailing, racing, custom equipment, other insurance and, yes, flying cars. Some customer-pleasing enhancement endorsements introduce the following:

• pet injury coverage;
• replacement cost coverage;
• protection for additional residents;
• child-restraining system coverage;
• personal property coverage; and
• key replacement and related services coverage.
