Levy named NY-YIP Insurance Professional of the Year

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.–The Professional Insurance Agents of New York Inc.s Young Insurance Professionals association named Jay Levy, NY-YIP Insurance Professional of the Year. Levy is president and co-chief executive officer of Morstan General Agency in Manhasset, N.Y. Levy was honored at the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey and New York States Joint Annual Business Conference. The event was held at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort Casino, June 8-10. The award is given by NY-YIP to an individual who has strived to further the education and career advancement of young people within the insurance industry. Levy was recognized in large part because of his longstanding support and generous contributions to NY-YIP.

"Jay has made significant contributions to ensure the future of our industry by helping to develop the leaders of tomorrow," said Gino A. Orrino, CPIA, president of NY-YIP. "We are pleased to present this award to him recognizing his dedication to our organization."

Active in the industry, Levy is a member of the Professional Insurance Wholesalers Association of New York State Inc.

NY-YIP is an organization dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry. It is affiliated with PIANY, a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
