PIANJ elects six to board of directors
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.-The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey today elected six independent insurance agents from around the state to its board of directors, during the associations annual business meeting, which took place during the PIANJ/PIANY Annual Conference at Ballys Park Place Casino, in Atlantic City.
The following individuals were elected to serve for a three-year term, expiring in 2018:
Roger Butler, CIC, of Cinnaminson, N.J. Butler is vice president of The Barclay Group in Riverton, N.J. He is active in PIANJ serving as a member of the Business Issues Committee.
Steven C. Radespiel of Hillsdale, N.J. Radespiel is president of Insurance Center of North Jersey in Hackensack, N.J. Active in the association, Radespiel was elected secretary for 2015-16. He is vice chair of the Membership Services/Programs Committee and a member of the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee and the Industry Relations Subcommittee. Radespiel also is an ex-officio member of the associations Northeast Advisory Council.
Michael DeStasio Jr. of Iselin, N.J. DeStasio is executive vice president of Donald F. LaPenna Associates in Clark, N.J. Active in PIANJ, DeStasio is vice chairperson of the Business Issues Committee.
Esther Tanez, CPIA, of Princeton Junction, N.J. Tanez is president of E.S.T.I.R. with offices in Princeton and Newark, N.J. As an active member of PIANJ, Tanez serves as chairperson of the Government Affairs Committee and is a member of its Diversity Advisory Council.
Andrew Harris Jr., CIC, AAI, of Jackson Township, N.J. Harris is executive vice president and partner at Liberty Insurance Associates in Millstone Township, N.J. Active in the association, Harris is a member of the Membership Services/Programs Committee. He also was elected to the PIANJ Young Insurance Professionals board of directors.
Beth Frederickson of North Caldwell, N.J. Frederickson is district sales coordinator for AFLAC in Fairfield, N.J. Active in PIANJ, Frederickson is a member of the Membership Services/Programs Committee.
PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
