PIANJ re-elects Caruso vice president

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.-Charles Caruso, CIC, CPIA, of Beachwood, N.J., was re-elected vice president of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey at the associations annual business conference at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort Casino in Atlantic City. Caruso is senior vice president of Herbert L. Jamison & Co. LLC/Jamison Insurance Group in West Orange, N.J.

An active member of PIANJ, Caruso served as vice president in 2013-14; treasurer in 2011-12 and is vice president of the Business Issues Committee. He also is a member of the Executive Budget & Finance Committee and the Glenmont National Alliance Committee. Caruso also is a member of the Political Action subcommittee and the Property Availability sub committee. Caruso is an active past president of the New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals, a PIANJ affiliate, dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry. 

In his community, Caruso is President of the Beachwood Soccer Club, as well as coach of a high-level travel team, and volunteer for the micro-instructional league. He also serves as co-chairperson of the Ocean County recreational soccer program and is a member of the Borough of Beachwoods Municipal Alliance Committee.

PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
