PIANJ re-elects LaPenna vice president

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.-Donald F. LaPenna Jr., of Cranford, N.J., president of Donald F. LaPenna Associates Inc. was re-elected vice president of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey at the associations annual business meeting at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort Casino in Atlantic City

An active member of PIANJ, LaPenna served as vice president of the association in 2013-14 and treasurer in 2012-13. He also is vice president serving over the Womens Business Forum, Legacy Task Force, Membership Services & Programs, Diversity subcommittee and the Special Olympics Golf Committee. LaPenna also is a member of the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.

In his community, LaPenna served on the board of directors of the Central New Jersey Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and was a committee chair for the Center of Great Expectations. He also is a former director of the Union County Red Cross and is a past head coach and treasurer of the Clark Pop Warner program.

PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
