Yarger named Young Insurance Professional of the Year

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.—Casey Yarger, CIC, of Robert Petri & Daughter in Milltown, N.J., was named Young Insurance Professional of the Year at the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey and New York state’s Annual Conference at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, June 5-7. 

The award is bestowed by PIANJ’s Young Insurance Professionals to an individual who exemplifies a commitment to professionalism, networking and service and whose actions have served to improve the NJYIP organization.

An active member of NJYIP, Yarger served as president for 2013-15; vice president from 2012-13 and secretary from 2011-12. He also served as YIP Fundraising/Sponsor chairperson in 2010-11 and also has served as liaison to PIANJ’s Business Issues Committee from 2011-16. Yarger also actively recruits YIP members to volunteer with the Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games every year. Active in PIANJ, Yarger is a member of the Legacy Task Force.

NJYIP is an organization dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry. It is affiliated with PIANJ, a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
