PIACT Young Insurance Professionals elect officers and directors at Annual Convention

HARTFORD, Conn.--Officers of the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc. Young Insurance Professionals were elected today during PIACT's Annual Convention, at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.

• Nick Khamarji Jr., of New England Insurance in Bridgeport, Conn., will serve as president.
• Kathleen Bailey, ACSR, CLCS, of The Russell Agency, in Southport, Conn., will serve as vice president;
• Crystal Cathcart of MarketStance in New Haven, Conn.; will serve as treasurer;
• Assaf Ben-Atar, Esq., of Bridgeport, Conn. will serve as secretary.

Elected to serve on the CTYIP board of directors are: Assaf Ben-Atar, Esq., of Pullman & Comley in Bridgeport, Conn.; Kathleen Bailey, ACSR, CLCS, of The Russell Agency, in Southport, Conn.; Crystal Cathcart of MarketStance in New Haven, Conn.; Cathy Finlayson of Servpro of Meridan in Wallingford, Conn.; Alyssa Harrington of Hillcrest Agency LLC in Centerbrook, Conn.; Steven Hunt of Thomas Fahy Insurance Agency in West Hartford, Conn.; Nick Khamarji Jr., of New England Insurance in Bridgeport, Conn.; John Mastroianni of Sal's Clothing Restoration in North Haven, Conn.; Darren Owen of New England Insurance in Bridgeport, Conn.; Frank Pingelski of Tooher-Ferraris Insurance Group in Wilton, Conn.; Nick Ruickoldt, CPIA, of the Russell Agency in Southport, Conn.; Nick Serra of Serra & Delvecchio Ins. The CTYIP is an organization dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry. It is an affiliate of PIACT, a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
