Shippee elected secretary of PIACT

HARTFORD, Conn.-Nathan Shippee of Bolton, Conn., was elected secretary of the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc., at the associations Annual Business Meeting, March 12, at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.

Shippee is vice president of sales & marketing Workers Compensation Trust.

An active member of PIACT, Shippee serves as legislative vice chair of the Legislative/Business Issues Committee. He also is PIACTs representative for the Connecticut FAIR Plan.

Active in his community, Shippee is vice chair of Trinity Covenant Church in Manchester, Conn.

PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
