U.S. DOL clarifies when interns are subject to FLSA

In a Jan. 5 bulletin, the U.S. Department of Labor clarified that going forward, it would use the same "primary beneficiary" test the U.S. Court of Appeals uses to determine whether interns are employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
