CTYIP honors O'Neil with Director of the Year award

HARTFORD, Conn.–The Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals and Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc. presented Francis (Bud) ONeil with their Director of the Year award today at PIACTs Annual Convention at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn. ONeil is a producer for C.V. Mason & Co., in Bristol, Conn.

This award is presented by CTYIP to honor the hard work and dedication of a member of the associations board of directors who has contributed a great deal of time and talent to help support the association and its programs. CTYIP, an affiliate of PIACT, promotes the professional and personal growth of those new to the insurance field by providing education and networking opportunities.

An active member of CTYIP, ONeil has served as chairperson of the Programs Committee. He also is the CTIP liaison for PIACT.

"Bud is an effective and respected individual," said Shannon Rabbett, CIC, president of CTYIP. "His dedication and loyalty to CTYIP and its members is to be admired."

PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
