WC insurance rates drop for fifth straight year
Connecticut Insurance Department Insurance Commissioner Katharine L. Wade announced this week that the CID has approved a 16.8 percent decrease in voluntary loss costs for workers’ compensation insurance and a 19.8 percent decrease in assigned risk rates, marking the fifth consecutive year that loss costs/rates have dropped. The CID approved the filing by the National Council on Compensation Insurance without modification.
