Legislative Summit

Determined to bring Main Street to Capitol Hill, a delegation from PIACT joined the PIA Federal Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C., on March 25-26. The event was a great success as your association was able to speak directly to federal legislators about the policies that matter most to you.

Your association’s representatives included: President Teri Walsh; President-elect Loretta Lesko, CIC; past President and National Director Timothy G. Russell, CPCU; and PIACT-YIP President Nicholas W. Ruickoldt, CPIA.

PIACT advocated on a number of issues but focused primarily on flood insurance, tax reform and insurance regulation.
