PIANY and CIBGNY jointly announce that due to the need for legislators to remain in Albany and work on the State Budget, the upcoming 2009 Legislative Program at the LaGuardia Marriott has been CANCELLED.

It's 30 days until the budget deadline and lawmakers are in Albany grappling with a $14 billion projected budget deficit while also protecting valued public services. Therefore,
and unfortunately, PIANY and CIBGNY have agreed to CANCEL their legislative program scheduled for March 6. The groups will continue, however, to work cooperatively on efforts to tackle issues that matter to agents and brokers most.
