PIANY representatives have been meeting with several Senate and Assembly members in their district offices to discuss PIANY's legislative priorities. This visits bring together insurance producers with their elected state and federal representatives and provides an easy way for participants to help shape public policy on insurance issues. For an overview of our 2013 DOV legislative priorities being discussed during these visits, click here.

How the program works. PIANY members sign up to visit their legislators, in small groups, in their district offices, between January and April. Meetings take place in your local area with your state legislators and members of Congress. This year, PIANY is even more committed to helping with scheduling and background materials to give you the tools you need to speak confidently on the issues. Moreover, PIANY staff will make themselves available to attend these meetings with you.
