NJ PAIP/CAIP Producer Procedures Course Parts 1 & 2
Q. With New Jersey's transition from a four-year insurance producer licensing period to a two-year period, the NJPAIP/NJCAIP Producer Procedures Course requirement means that certified producers must complete the course:
A. every two years.
B. every four calendar-years, on a schedule applicable to all producers.
C. every other licensing period.
D. only once, to obtain their original certification.
Answer: C—every other licensing period.
The NJPAIP/NJCAIP Producer Procedures Course must be taken by all certified producers, principals and their employees once every four years. When New Jersey's producer licenses were issued for a period of four years, the course had to be taken once during each licensing period. Now, according to the NJPAIP/NJCAIP Customer Service Department, the course must be taken once during every other licensing period. Rather than setting a common four-calendar-year compliance period that applies to all producers, NJPAIP/NJCAIP says each producer's deadline for completing the course depends on the individual's license expiration date.
This course, offered by webinar, consists of two webinars, Parts 1 & 2. Both parts must be completed for PAIP/CAIP certification; the course must be completed in no more than two sessions. All sessions must be completed by the same person. Session 2 must be completed within 12 months of Session 1.
*Only producers wishing to continue (maintain) their certification will be eligible to complete this course via webinar.
The following are ineligible to complete the course via webinar:
Producers seeking new certification. Producers applying for certification for the 1 st time must complete the 4-hourcourse in a CLASSROOM SETTING.
Producers whose certification is revoked or suspended CANNOT take these webinars for re-certification.
NJ: 4 GEN
2-part package registration $80 member, $100 nonmember per person/per computer. Each registrant must be registered and logged in individually to earn credit. Both sessions must be completed by the same person. Registration fee includes a PDF copy of the PAIP/CAIP manual, to be included in your confirmation.

Maximizing Your Agency's Internet Presence
Showing up on a search engine results page has become a key way to connect with your existing clients as well as generate new business. But, being found on the Internet takes much more than having an agency website and a Facebook page. Maximizing your Internet presence, so anyone can find you, requires understanding how search engines work and then learning the specific steps that any agency can take to increase their chances of being visible to people searching. The good news is that it costs little to get started. This presentation details what you need to do to get started.

Brought to you in conjunction with the AIMS Society, the Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation is a first-of-its-kind, hands-on, how-to, CE-approved insurance designation. Why is CPIA for you? Because your agency's success comes down to relationships—and CPIA is your building block. Additionally, the CPIA designation is approved by Fireman's Fund and Utica Mutual for E&O loss prevention credit. If you are truly dedicated to ensuring your independent agency succeeds in today's highly competitive market, consider the CPIA designation.
What insurance professionals are saying about the CPIA program:
"Great program! Encourage all staff to go."
"One of the better education seminars I've attended in a while. I liked the participation."
" Great instructor. Kept it interesting."
You will earn a nationally recognized insurance designation when you complete the CPIA series. There's no exam required, and you may take them in any order. These seminars are designed to enhance the ability of producers, sales support staff and company personnel to efficiently create and distribute effective insurance programs. Participants leave with ideas that will produce increased sales results immediately. The three Insurance Success Seminars are: Position for Success (CPIA 1), Implement for Success (CPIA 2) and Sustain Success (CPIA 3). Once completed, the CPIA designation is approved by Utica Mutual for E&O loss prevention credit. Please call PIA's E&O department for details.
