E&O—Practical Solutions for the Insurance Professional ^FF ^UM

This course begins with a general discussion of the errors and omissions exposures faced by all insurance producers. We will discuss the costs of E&O to the agency as well as the sources of E&O claims and an agent's standard of care. We will look at common areas of E&O and discuss specific measures that can be taken to help an agency reduce the probability of a successful E&O claim being made against it. Lastly, we will look at the E&O claim process and discuss what an agency should and should not do in an E&O situation.
