PIANY members to meet with state representatives across state

Every fall PIANY facilitates its District Office Visit Program, comprised of outreach meetings with legislators across the state, taking place November through January. These visits give us a head start on our priority issues for the coming state legislative session.

The goal of the DOV program is to reach out to state legislators to set up a time to meet with them before they return to Albany and discuss the issues that are important to professional, independent insurance agents.

Participation is easy. PIANY is committed to helping DOVs be a success by preparing volunteers with background information and talking points, so you can speak confidently on the most pressing issues. Your association's staff even will attend meetings to support your visit.
