February is Careers in Insurance Month

You can become involved in recruiting the next generation of insurance professionals with resources provided by PIA. Contact your local high school or college, and offer to give a presentation to the students about the benefits of working in the insurance industry in February or any time of year. PIAs Community Presentation, which includes a "Careers in Insurance" PowerPoint presentation and a suggested script to help you prepare for your presentation in the PIA Agency Staffing Assistance Program.

Even if a presentation at a local school doesnt fill the vacant position in your office, it will provide you with an opportunity to be active and raise your agencys profile in your community. Even in high school, you find prospects and future clients and maybe reports of your presentation will make it to their parents.
