PIANJ names Escalona Director of the Year

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.-Maria N. Escalona, CPIA, of Jackson, N.J., was named the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jerseys Director of the Year today at the associations annual business conference at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort Casino in Atlantic City. Escalona is personal lines manager at Jimcor Agencies in Montvale, N.J.

This recognizes the hard work and dedication of a member of the associations board of directors who has contributed remarkable time and talent to help support the association and its many programs.

Active in the association, Escalona is Conference and Education vice chairperson of the Membership Services/Programs Committee. She also is a member of the Womens Business Forum and the Diversity subcommittee.

In her community, Escalona is a member of Helping Angels, a non-profit professional womens organization committed to helping meet the needs of women, children and the elderly in the community. She also is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
