Commerce Insurance Co. wins PIANH Company Award of Excellence in personal lines

CONCORD, N.H.–The Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire Inc. today recognized The Commerce Insurance Company with its Company Award for Excellence in the category of personal lines pricing and coverage. The company was presented with the award at the associations Fall Education Festival, held today in Concord. Patrick McDonald, senior vice president at Commerce Insurance, stated that all of the employees at Commerce sincerely appreciate this recognition and look forward to working with New Hampshire independent agents to achieve our mutual growth and profitability objectives.

The Commerce Insurance Company received praise from its agents concerning service to personal lines in the PIANH 2010 Company Performance Survey. "As part of members input about this category, Commerce Insurance was recognized by its agents for lending stability in the market, for consistent underwriting and, interestingly, for ease in technology with products and pricing, particularly in the personal lines category," said Lisa Nolan, CPCU president of PIANH. "Our members appreciate that they have access to products that offer our clients competitive prices and good coverage for their valuable possessions."

The PIANH Company Awards are presented to those insurers that consistently demonstrate outstanding performance in the eyes of the agents that represent them. Winning companies received high scores on the PIANH Company Performance Survey, which gauges insurance producers views of their carriers and gives agents the opportunity to share opinions on their companies handling of claims; products and pricing; technology; underwriting and more.

PIANH is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
