PIANH elects three to board of directors

CONCORD, N.H.-Three New Hampshire insurance agents were elected to serve on the board of directors of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire Inc. today at the associations annual meeting.

The following individuals were re-elected to serve for a two-year term:

Lisa Nolan, CPCU, of Goffstown, N.H. Nolan is senior executive vice president of Watson Insurance Agency Inc. in Manchester, N.H. Nolan will serve as president of PIANH for 2010-11. Active in the association, Nolan served as president-elect for 2008-10. She currently serves as chairperson of the Government Affairs Committee and is a member of the Education/Conference Committee and the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.

Scott Johnston of Londonderry, N.H. Johnston is president/owner of Benway Johnston Insurance in Derry, N.H. He will serve as president-elect of PIANH for 2010-11. Active in the association, Johnton served as vice president for 2008-10. He also is a member of the Education/Conference Committee and the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.

The following individual was elected to serve for a two-year term:

Christopher Volpe, CIC, of Meredith, N.H. Volpe, vice president and CEO of Melcher & Prescott Inc. in Laconia, has held the CIC designation for 17 years. He is a member of the Finance Committee of Lakes Region Child Care Services, a community level health and human services nonprofit organization and has served on the board of directors and is treasurer for the Laconia Ice Arena, also a NH-based nonprofit organization. Volpes professional focus includes agency information systems and marketing, and has formerly worked as business analyst/account executive in the financial investment software industry in Boston.
