CTYIP honors Bailey with Director of the Year award

HARTFORD, Conn.–The Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticuts Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals today presented Kathleen Bailey, ACSR, CLCS, with the CTYIP Director of the Year award at the CTYIP Annual Business Meeting during PIACTs Annual Convention at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn. Bailey is an agent with The Russell Agency LLC in Southport, Conn.  

This award is presented by CTYIP to an individual who actively supports and works for the goals and objectives of CTYIP. Bailey was honored for her leadership, attention to responsibilities and tireless work ethic. CTYIP, an affiliate of PIACT, promotes the professional and personal growth of those new to the insurance field by providing education and networking opportunities.

An active member of the association, Bailey will serve vice president of the CTYIP for 2016-17.

"Katie is an effective and respected individual," said Nick Ruickoldt, CPIA, president of CTYIP. "Her dedication and loyalty to PIACT and CTYIP and its members is to be admired."

PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
