CTYIP honors Ruickoldt with YIP of the Year award

HARTFORD, Conn.-The Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals and Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc. presented Nicholas Ruickoldt, CPIA, with its Young Insurance Professional of the Year award today at PIACTs Annual Convention at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn. Ruickoldt is a broker for The Russell Insurance Agency in Southport, Conn.

This award is presented by CTYIP to honor the hard work and dedication of a member of the associations board of directors who has contributed a great deal of time and talent to help support the association and its programs. CTYIP, an affiliate of PIACT, promotes the professional and personal growth of those new to the insurance field by providing education and networking opportunities.

"Nicks tireless commitment to CTYIP and the industry as a whole is to be commended," said Peter Frascarelli, CPIA, president of PIACT. "He has earned the respect from his colleagues and customers that he deserves. CTYIP is proud to present him with this award."

An active member of CTYIP, Ruickoldt is president and served as secretary.

PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
