CTYIP honors Finlayson with Director of the Year award

HARTFORD, Conn.-The Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals and Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc. presented Catherine Finlayson with their Director of the Year award today at PIACTs Annual Convention at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn. Finlayson is a salesperson for Servpro of New Haven, Waterbury, Naugatuck Valley, Conn., and Westchester, N.Y.

This award is presented by CTYIP to honor the hard work and dedication of a member of the associations board of directors who has contributed a great deal of time and talent to help support the association and its programs. CTYIP, an affiliate of PIACT, promotes the professional and personal growth of those new to the insurance field by providing education and networking opportunities.

An active member of CTYIP, Finlayson has served as a member of the board of directors since 2004.

"Cathy is an effective and respected individual," said Nick Ruickoldt, president of CTYIP. "Her dedication and loyalty to CTYIP and its members is to be admired."

PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
