Frascarelli named president of PIACT

HARTFORD, Conn.-Peter Frascarelli, CPIA, of Cheshire, Conn., was elected president of the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc., at the associations Annual Convention, March 13-14, at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn.

Frascarelli is chief operating officer of the Peter M. Bakker Agency Inc., in Avon, Conn., a PIACT member since 1990.

Active in PIACT, Frascarelli serves as vice president of the Administrative/ Nominations Committee and is a member of the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.

In his community, Frascarelli is a member of the Fairfield University Alumni Association. He also is a member of the Cheshire Land Trust.

PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
