PIANJ names Cunningham Professional Agent of the Year

TRENTON, N.J.-The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. will present Donna Cunningham, CPIA, with the Professional Agent of the Year award at the associations Annual Conference at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, June 10-12, 2011.  

"Throughout her career, Donna has demonstrated a deep level of dedication to our industry. She has earned the respect and trust of her colleagues and customers," said Keith A. Savino, CPIA, president of PIANJ. "PIANJ is very pleased to give Donna this award."

Cunningham is owner of ADP/Statewide Insurance Agency in Florham Park, N.J.

A PIANJ member since 1989, Cunningham served as president of the association in 2010-11; vice president in 2007-2010, treasurer in 2006-2007, and secretary for the 2005-2006 term. She is chairperson of the Nominations Committee and the Diversity Task Force. She also is a member of the Business Issues and Executive/Budget and Finance Committees. Cunningham also is a member of the MVR/Auto Task. She also is an ex officio member of the Womens Business Forum.

Active in her community, Cunningham serves as treasurer and a member of the board of directors for the Family Reach Foundation. She served as chairperson of the Orange Head Start Program and is a past president of the Orange Chamber of Commerce. A former treasurer of the Orange Rotary Club, Cunningham also is past chairperson of the Manton B. Metcalf Memorial Association.

PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
