PIACT names Frascarelli Committee Chairperson of the Year

HARTFORD, Conn.–The Professional Insurance Agents of New Connecticut Inc. today named Peter Frascarelli, CPIA, Committee Chairperson of the Year. Frascarelli is chief operating officer of the Peter M. Bakker Agency in Avon, Conn. The award honors the PIACT volunteer who best demonstrates dedication and effort in chairing one of PIACT’s committees. He received this honor for his work as chairperson of the Legislative Committee.

     “As an active member of the association, Peter’s contributions to PIACT are numerous and have helped to strengthen the organization,” said Immediate Past President James R. Berliner, CPCU.

      In addition to the Legislative Committee, Frascarelli also serves as a member of the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.

     Active in his community, Frascarelli is a member of the Cheshire Land Trust and the Fairfield University Alumni Association.

     PIACT is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
