PIACT honors McLaughlin as Company Rep. of the Year

MASHANTUCKET, CONN.- Brendan McLaughlin, insurance sales executive for Travelers Cos., has been named this years recipient of the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc.s Company Representative of the Year award. The formal presentation took place today at PIACTs Annual Convention at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, in Mashantucket, Conn.

McLaughlin currently is in charge of strategic management of the personal insurance agency force in Northern Connecticut, including Litchfield County, Farmington Valley, West Hartford and Hartford.

PIACT presents the award to the company representative who best fosters a sound working relationship between insurance agents and companies, and who exemplifies a commitment to professionalism and service as a company representative.

"Brendan is a respected and outstanding insurance professional," said James Goodman, CIC, immediate past president of PIACT. "He is a true champion of the independent agency system."
