The Diamond Club Reception presents an excellent opportunity for you and other insurance professionals to meet with your legislators in an informal setting to discuss insurance-related issues affecting your business, your town and your clients. Lawmakers want to hear from their constituents, and this is an ideal forum for you to communicate your interests and the interests of your insureds. Confirmed attendees include Insurance Commissioner Katharine L. Wade, Attorney General George Jepsen and 2016 Legislator of the Year award recipient Representative Brian Becker. Representative Becker will be presented with the award during the reception.

Connecticut's work in implementing federal health-care reform, as well as concerns regarding ride hailing, hurricane, windstorm and coastal homeowners insurance are certain to be major topics of attention this session. Please come and share your expertise on these and other issues with the policymakers in Hartford.
